I'd like to say that Emi was successfully spayed two days ago (and this picture IS in fact from today). I could not be happier with the vet that I chose and how smoothly everything went. She's already starting to heal nicely; it's like nothing ever happened.(You may see that her right forearm is missing a patch of fur, this is where the catheter was placed during surgery).

Shiba Inu's definetly are one of the best species of dogs. They're beatuiful, smart, quiet, and take to orders well. They're calm, yet excited when need be.
All of this has been captured beautifully in this picture.

They're definitely a unique breed. You're right about most of that, except for "take orders well" (in general, of course). But ah, I love them.
