Description Eee gads, really have to get into the habit of posting more stuff..

Here's one of my latest anyway. I think I had an idea of making it an album cover for... some band.. called bull fight? maybe.. whatever. Whats important here is its one of the few images currently on my new website which can be found here -->> [link]

I'd like to say that in spain the 79'2% of the people are against bull fighting... but the richest and most influent persons (catholic church, the People's Party, conservationists) like them and do anything to set them as a 'Property of Cultural Interest'. They were forbidden just in Catalonia. But this is neither art nor culture... this is torture.

Hey, just to be sure, as I was left somewhat unclear of the intention of your comment. This painting is meant to convey my own opinion of bull fighting as a sad and cruel sport. I've been a vegetarian for several years, and don't condone violence of any sort towards animals.

If you meant only to provide information on the practice itself then thank you.

Gorgeous. The bull's anatomy is really good, which is rare because it seems a lot of people have trouble painting animals. I agree with Kulka, it's eye is amazing. Would you be willing to upload a close up, if you have one?

The human is good too, but the way you shaded it makes the anatomy look really wonky. If I look really close though, I can see that you know what your doing.

You want to see a close up of the bulls eye? theres not much to see really. Just put a glazed reflection on it to show its dead/near dead state.

Nice colors, nice depth and the oily texture on the bulls horns and the choice of colors makes it feel so much more symbolic and sinister. Great job!

Thanks mate, I do have plenty more in a similar vein actually, but they're all unfinished and will probably remain so. My idea of starting multiple images at once has made me far more productive, but I'm only finishing like 1 in 10 images now =d

Haha, so much for a compliment then.

The colours are just so good, minimalistic, but then the cyan POPS.

The bull's eye is pretty neat now that you mention it. You need to teach me some tricks like that. I always think my eyes are a bit flat.
