Another from the Thursday shoot.
I got an email from the headcrab zombie this morning that asked what my ideas were for a further shoot, and I haven't come up with any to answer him. If you have an idea for something that you'd like to see us stage, let me know in the comments. This has been a lot of fun, and it seems a lot of you enjoy the pics, so we'd be happy to continue.

But, did you guys not have a costume for the zombie, or did he get cold in the wind?

It was probably 20 degrees F out there when we did the shoot; it was one of the coldest Thanksgivings ever and the wind was ripping across the hilltop. After a bit of deliberation we decided that it was reasonable to assume some people had been headcrab'd with their coats on 
(We had to give our poor Doctor Freeman a lot of hot drinks afterwards; like in the "Rise And Shine" shoot, he was pretty stiff and shaky afterwards with just that thin little lab coat between him and the weather...)

Luckily, he never seems to- I try and bundle him into a hot shower right away after cold shoots and feed him hot coffee afterwards. I usually end up with the cold, actually

We'll see! We've been incredibly busy lately, but things seem to be calming down and we're hoping to do another shoot once we've found a suitable location.

Hey, you guys should go out at night, and have a little Ravenholm picture. And then someone might notice you guys, and get caught in the picture, and then everyone will be like 'There's a zombie in the window!' and...
Okay, no. Don't read that part. I just thought maybe the night might do a great Ravenholm effect.

It's a good suggestion, but the trick is getting enough light for things to show up- I actually only have a bare-bones camera, and it's not always reliable without a lot of light. I'll put it in the suggestion file, though!

He's the best Gordon Freeman I've ever seen, to tell you the truth. It's unfortunate we all can't team up. Where is he, anyhow? (If he doesn't want to say, thats fine too.)
I looked on cosplay.com, and I found a nice one. He was in Spain. I'm depressed that no Gordon Freeman is near me, but I don't think I've searched through the entire catagory yet.

Pennsylvania. Although we do have friends in CA, and will probably make a visit out there when the weather is better. If you want to keep in touch, we can do that- you said you didn't have your camera yet anyhow. After all, the world could use more HL videos...

I would be exstatic if we could do a photoshoot together when you do come to CA. After all, Sac Anime IS coming up, but it's pretty close by. (Jan 7th-9th)
There's also one in the summer, I think in August.
Yus, after I get money for Xmas, I shall start saving up for it~ I commented on a HL fan video and asked what video camera i should get for filming, and they say a HDR-SR12. I found it $700 used on Amazon, but it's better than the original $1,500 new. I hope to maybe start a job to help.

It'll more than likely be in the summer sometime- the weather's not great right now and we don't have that kind of gas money available (we're planning on road tripping it) Perhaps by that time you've saved up for your camera!

It's in about 3 months, so that gives me plenty of time to find a stupid jacket. Her jacket is incredibly hard to find, and when I do, there's something always wrong with it :/

Well, to be honest, we don't know. His company was recently bought out by a larger one, and while they kept him on as an employee, things like vacation and sick time are up in the air until the restructuring is finished. We still want to do the road trip, but right now we're not sure when we'll be able to take the time. I can try and keep you posted, though!

Thanks! We were really lucky that the wind was steady, not too hard, and at the perfect direction. It really did make for some dramatic shots!
