Hahah nice yeah no he didn't poo on it that time, but unlike many parrots, budgie poops are very small and easy to remove.

They are the same when described in common conversation, but as far as I know other birds can also be a type of parakeet.
All budgies are parakeets, but not all parakeets are budgies.
