In my opinion i honestly don't hate Hiyoko .., as for why ... i actually sometimes like characters who look innocent and nice but are really not that nice and i know Hiyoko is a huge jerk but there's something about her that i actually like ... but that's my opinion.
Gundham best danganronpa character ... really Gundham is my favorite danganronpa character just he's so hilarious and well other obvious reasons.
Nagito isn't my absolute favorite and his hope thing is a little annoying after a while ... but i like his design and that he's actually insane and he Relyed on his luck just to draw out the Traitor so for me neutral.

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I find a lot of the scenes where he keeps going on and on about hope to be a too annoying, he comes across as more of an ass than someone who wants to help when he did things like use the bomb scare to try and stop the exam in Danganronpa 3 and ended up getting three other students expelled while merely getting suspended himself (it is a bit of an infuriating scene for me, to be honest) and where he pushes Teruteru to take advantage of his 'murder plan' to commit murder himself, and even as someone who hasa low opinion of myself, I do find the amount of times he calls himself worth less gets old. There's a point where self pity gets a bit blown out of proportion.
I hope that explained why I'm not too partial to him. I mean, I do understand why he wanted to root out the traitor in Chapter 5 of Danganronpa 2, but.... yeah, he's not my favorite.

its also nice to see someone understands why i love the ultimate imposter so much ^^
not only does he have a interesting concept but hes probs one of the nicest characters in the series which is shown but how much he genuanly cares about mikan to the point id honestly see them as a cute couple plus i love how he cares for ryota when he got sick that just made me go aww
they made a char in the game who had barley any development and made him a truly great and likable char in the anime so ill always aplaud them or that ^^

Chiaki IS a character who I like (I actually CRIED during the scene where she dies during Danganronpa 3), but I personally don't think she's the most developed character in the cast.

also i think the issue with sayaka is the fact they seem to not want to do anything with her i mean she has the least development out of all the cast in the original game and we dont get much media to develop her since
as for nagito i blame the fanbase for that one honestly (we did get that ass shot of him though so theres that XD) i mean hes mostly just shipper fuel nowerdays lol
as for other disagreements welll i think junkos a great villian just a vile human being who screwed up my favorite character,monoca just styraight up leaves me conflicted,and considering how manipulative ruruka is it makes sence it sauta makes sence as to why Sonosuke is so damm loyal to her also he got some cool fight scenes so theres that

True - even Leon got a bit of development in his Free Time interactions.
I'm not a fan of him, and the series turning into Nagito fan service at times is a bit odd.
If Junko was as funny as Monokuma and didn't remind me of the annoying bitchy school bullies I was picked on by when I was younger, I would probably like her more. Sohnosuke did have some cool moments but I did find him a bit bland. And as for Monaca...... well, I think I've ripped her character apart enough times to explain why she's my most hated character in all of media.
