You know, I do see a similarity between toothless and flammie:
Both are a rare specie of dragon and both are mascots for their respective franchises. Plus both have a 4 legged cuddly body shape.

Flammie is also from Secret of Mana. The first game in the Mana series. You got to use him to fly around the plant, it was my favorite part of the game controlling Flammie.
He's also a species of dragon called the Mana Beast. And if you play Secret of Mana you see many Mana beast throughout the game. Flammie just happens to be the legendary white mana beast.

Secret of Mana is for the Super NES. But I believe they re-released it on the PSP, and you can also buy it with Wii points on the Wii.

there are two creatures in this pic, one of them is toothless. then it's pretty clear who Flammie is B/
and if you wonder who flammieis in general but the picture.. I JUST FRICKIN' SAID IT IN THE PREVIOUS COMMENT XD it's a creature who take you to places in the game "Children of Mana"!
