Two of my fav Pokemon having fun with autumn leafs ^0^This pic actually has a pretty long story. I wanted to draw this exact scene since I started to do digital art. That was in autumn 2006. My skills back then weren't any good so I didn't draw the picture but pushed it to next year. Then 2007 I kinda missed the autumn season and the next years I also was busy in autumn so I always kept pushing it
Now *finally* I managed to get myself drawing it. I almost missed the season again, huh? Since it's already snowing in some countries. But in Germany it's still midst of fall so this pic is still drawn in time X3Eevee and Vulpix are also two of the top favourite Pokemon that you guys told me in my last journal so there you go ^.^

These guys are so cute. You have a very nice way of shading. How exactly did you do the fur around evee's neck, I don't mean the shape, I mean the shading. I guess you could say you've given it a 3D effect.

It's not a 3D effect I'd say. It's just gradient shading. You get that effect by selecting areas with the lasso-tool and than use a big soft eraser or adding color with a big soft brush. So it get's soft but withing sharp corners.. do you understand what I mean?

They're my favorites, too. I originally made Eevee my fav when I was 4, which is when my older brother and sister introduced me to the trading cards. So, I loved Eevee before I even learned about the 3 original "Eevee-lutions", and I almost fainted when I found out when I was 6. Anyways, great job on this artwork. The colors are very vibrant and befitting for the color of Eevee and Vulpix's fur. It looks like they're having a wonderful time.
