This is over, once and for all.
From now on its only she and her daughter.
Her precious star in these empty skies.
How many years until she escapes the curse of the blind man – tonight.
  Drying his eyes, telling him to believe in him - with the frozen mind.
  Self defying role play - every night since she was thirteen.

  The man in the uniform that used to come.
  She saved his wife. He would have beaten her to death out of frustration.

  And the man with the shotgun. She saved his life.

  Teardrops - the thought that she loves him makes her heart beat in pain.

  How many times did she follow him down to the bars, despite the danger

  and leaving her three year old at home without protection.

Now the elevator arrived. 198Th Floor.
Just one staircase to climb. She takes her daughter be the hand as they walk.
Stepping out on the roof, the neon lights are blinding and the wind is very cold.
Everything is wet, it had been raining.
There is the pad. The shuttle will be here soon.

  'Hello there ..'

  'What? .. SHIT .. YOU?!'

That could not be, not him, not now, not tonight!

  'no no NO!'

He comes closer – with that sick glare in his eyes and this grin... Drugs again.
She is not letting him stop her. Not again.

  She used to love him!

She takes her daughter by the hand and turns to the city.
Staring out in the lights and the mist.
Raindrops cut on her face and mix with salty tears.
The metal of the gun is cold in her hand. So cold.
She raises her arm.
The flash.
The sound of an explosion her ear.
A surprised and wet gurgle, then comes

  The End.
