I hope no one is offended by this rather dark & gloomy theme I designed during the Holiday season. It is one I have wanted to put out for some time now but was reluctant due it’s sensitive nature. I decided to put it out as I am coming to the end of my screenshooting endeavor. My Interpretation is based on the scriptural account of the betrayal of Jesus Christ by Judas. The story is told in scripture that at the Last Supper Jesus knew he was going to be executed. He also knew that one of his disciples was the one who would turn him over to the authorities. Jesus confronts the betrayer and says “What you are going to do…do quickly!” The betrayer then leaves the supper to perform his dirty deed. Scripture says the betrayer left the supper and went outside “…and it was night”. Dirty deeds are always best done in the dark. Of course, after Jesus was executed the betrayer, overcome with guilt, hung himself!
