thanks a lot for the critique. I choose this because its my most fav and most viewed I agree that the spider was not so focus. It was below my knee and i can't kneel or go nearer due to muds are all around thanks a lot

Alright that one will be fun, I really love it!
I just finished my second drawing in two day's so I have been doing my own thing other then this. Had an appointment today, another check up and then did some grocery shopping. FUN FUN and exhausting. But I'm still trucking.

thanks a lot for looking my work well this is my first shot when i purchased my dslr. I look over your gallery and you used canon ixus 105. i tried to check it but i can't see the features of it I may say it's NOT always in the camera. you can see my older works which i used canon ixus 860 an old one
do you have dslr? if you do, shot more.Honestly until now i don't know all the functions of my dslr.
and to answer you queries:
how do i took this kind of photo-i was just excited with my camera so i woke up early and tried to shot the sunrise. but unfortunately, my shots was horrible.believe me so i think of something,look around then i saw this spider and a damsel fly (other photo).
Tips- i think inspiration, eagerness to learn, patient and see the result was the key of my shots. look lots of photos that you like and try to capture copy it and then if you already know it don't copy them make your own style like composition.
Settings- no in this shot i don't know anything about settings yet.if you are using your compact camera,try to use different functions like macro mode,portraits,ect. in one subject and in one shot. try to compare them.
and of course post process is important to. it will enhance you photo. in this photo i was so lucky to shot it that way. only brightness and contrast i used in the post processing.
hopes it helps. remember i'm not a pro but i love to help. i'm a big amateur.
