Description Kyoko returns!
Go ahead. Melt.

Ok, so the reason I came up with this was because I wanted to try something with the eye coloring. It didn't quite come out how I wanted, but the more I worked on this, the more it turned out to be a nice illustration anyway.

I like the way the lineart turned out. I used a simple ballpoint pen this time around. Easier than a multiliner, and I can get smoother strokes. Who knows? I may stick to traditional media for my lineart from now on.

Lol, oh you. Gyarr, you make a good point for the multiliners.

Can I rape her? I get to rape her, right? 8D *SHOT*
Needless to say, she turned out way too cute <3
I too prefer to use a fine-tipped ballpoint pen for lining, but I'm dead set on getting better with multiliners because it's what so many great mangaka use! 8'D
I shall figure out their secret e3e

If you hadn't pointed out the traditional way of doing the lines I would have mistaken them for intentionally thin digital ones - is your hand THAT calm? I always have problems with getting long lines un-wobbly. I'm especially talking about the hair at her back head, that looks so steady. I'm also impressed by the round parts being so clean.
Sweet job on the coloring, too. I could get lost in those eyes, they remind me of the ocean meeting the sea.

And after all those words now the first thought I had when seeing her: AWWWWWWWW ^.^

Hehe. That's why I liked using ballpoint pen for this one. It allows me to use many strokes versus one. If I had used multiliners it wouldn't be nearly as smooth, trust me. Also thank goodness resizing from a larger image hides many things! o w o

I'm glad her eyes impart a good feeling. Maybe I'm crazy, but I was also trying to create an atmosphere where the viewer felt like they were falling in love as they looked at her.

hahaha, yeah. All glory to resizing.

I think you succeeded with the "falling in love" kind of atmosphere.
I'm not attracted to her THAT way since I'm not into girls, but I certainly fell for that character design which is love after all ^.^
(in other words the "omg, that's so cute/beautiful" sort of love)
