I have used your image in my blog on the meaning of βtwosomesβ and βthreesomesβ in art history. I hope you donβt mind but of course Iβll immediately remove them if you doβ¦

Love the B&W, image is very tender and loving. I just hate the long nails on him,(G-L Chesire) though. Though whole image screams of the beauty of male love, then I look and see long fingernails. I love the photo as a whole, but those fingernails are rather useless. (IMO) A mans hand can be beautiful without needing to be feminine.
Sorry for the rant, I just don't understand why some men grow out long fingernails...

While I appreciate your point of view, and thank you for sharing it, I couldn't disagree more.
Just as a man's hands can be beautiful without being feminine, they can also be beautiful while be feminine.
Gender identity, self expression, and grooming as it pertains to gender, aren't as "cut and dry" or single faceted as we often seem to try and force them to be.
Whether they were intended to be an actual element to the overall piece, or just happened to be how the model keeps his nails isn't relevant to me. In the end, I found the long fingernails on a male as part of this image to be refreshing. It steps outside what the majority calls the "norm," and makes a statement of self.
It's all a matter of perspective I guess, which is my favorite thing about the beauty of art - it's all relative.
