been a while!been really busy these days. finally got some time to upload some stuff.
This design is for my own adaptation of the story of Baba Yaga. Im scrapping this design going with a totally different one because this design doesn't really connect with the overall theme im going for.
for this one however i based the clothing design on the hanbok.
here are the color comps i did for this design

I might be wrong, but isn't the baba yaga a witch from the russian folk lore? Who lived in a house that walked around on chiken legs, and who flyed around in a churn? Just curious.

yup, thats right. but i decided to adapt the story to coincide more with african culture. and this design isnt babayaga herself but the character thats just named "girl" in the story. i will be posting up the design for babayaga herself soon.

Eh, keeping busy. Lot of school, lot of new homework assignments that have nothing to do with what I want to be doing.
Second year of college? Not so awesome as the first year, especially when I didn't get into animation. Boo.
Next year, next year.

eh, havnt really started anything on his class yet, iv been working on my babayaga thing. i really wanna finish the render for the house with chicken legs before i start on anthonys stuff. it sux too cuz i got do model packets for his class.

Oh my goodness, everything is just so detailed t othe max and I liked the cape. I know, designs are very key for getting across the right feel to a character. I hope you find the one you're looking for! Meanwhile we'll just oogled this one to death ^x^
