That's true! Those 2 or 3 second takes give the artist a lot of room for humor and character inside the cartoon to put their touch on. That's where I love them - raised eyebrows, glances toward the third wall etc.
fav.me/datzowu is one of those I restored, all the copies I have are so poor I just redrew it to show what the artist probably intended. Someday I want to get hd versions of that show!
