Description
This is a scan of one of my fashion designs. This was among the outfits that I drew and actually made.
The black sleeves attach along the back and is most similar to a shrug although not quite.
The shirt is just a very reduced version of a dress shirt
And the skirt. simple in concept, pure hell to make. there are two zippers on the upper part so the wearer can get in and out. And along the same seams, there are zippers on the bottom half that go all the way up to mid thigh. There are a total of 4 lower zippers. The idea is that depending on how much the zippers are up or down, it would vary the mobility and flow of the skirt as the person moves.
This was fitted and made for one specific model but unfortunately, I didn't have any good quality pictures of her from the Wearable Art Show 2006. It does however, fit other models. here are links to a few of them
