I suggested as a contest, make portal technologies in different formats, like wood, steam, stone age, magic/mid-evil, ect., and now everyone is making steam based portal stuff.

I think im gonna go with magic/mid evil portal, the cores could be crystal balls, glados can be a chained up magical dragon, controlling all the bricks of aperture, watching though her baby dragon "cameras", the portal gun could be a war-ax, cutting portals into dungeon walls, and the long fall boots could be a charm.Acid will be croc infested water, nuerotoxin is cast from gladoses magic, and Turrets will be crossbow cannons.
