She was a good friend of Maureen McCormick and appeared in The Brady Bunch. Maureen's character, Marcia Brady, was named after the deceased actress who appeared in certain episodes of The Brady Bunch.

I do recall her being in the Brady Bunch, but I didn't know that bit of Marcia Brady trivia. Neat. Thank you.

Considering there is an episode with Ned wearing a black armband in mourning, I'd say so.

All right. I don't watch that much of The Simpsons, so yeah.

I just saw it for the first time a few days ago. Poor Ned, jeez!

I stopped watching the Simpsons long ago, when the series got crude, vulgar and anti-social. So I don't know who will be bumped off. I hope they reconsider.
Msybe it's the senile grandfather. I recall one film where Bart brought him to class on "bring a relative day" or whatever it was called, and the way he carried on ! Bart was practically a straight man ! He moaned about Abe's behavior and talking rubbish ,at dinner !
"Stop spitting on the floor, grandpa ! Even I don't do that !"

Abe does sound like a logical choice, but that makes too much sense. So, they'll probably bump off Comic Book Guy, or Doctor Hibbert instead.

You're welcome. I may do a Ms Krabappel tribute artwork myself... As soon as I have free time to do so. I'll send you a note when I'm finished.

We can be happy that she is celebrating a birthday in Heaven! But, I'm still sad like you are.

The show is having a tribute this Sunday at the beginning of the episode

I don't feel like watching the tribute, because it'd be too sad. Anyway, that's good that the creators are paying tribute to a woman with great talent and probably one of the classiest women ever known.

Springfield Elementary will not be the same without Edna Krabapple, nor will the world be the same without Marcia Wallace. That tear sparkling in Bart's eye is the perfect touch.

I like how Bart seems to be crying. That's a nice touch.
