In my opinion, the long-term credibility of windmills as a source of energy remains to be demonstrated. If one day, new kinds of nuclear reactors (LENR reactors, thorium reactors,...), which are supposed to be much less dangerous than the classical ones, are developed, these windmills will become obsolete. However, their bedrock will persist and will be a danger to navigation, in an area where maritime traffic is particularly dense.
