Description 10 x 20 Oil on Canvas

A painting that I did a few years ago. I never liked the grass, so I spent some time changing it last night. Put sky behind them instead of receding grasses, and redid the colors of the grasses and the antelope, making the antelope richer colored and the grass a lot looser and more colorful.

I wish I had put at least one male with horns in there, but oh well - next time

You could always do a companion piece to this with a couple of bucks... I like the composition of this piece... I knew it was one of yours Pam the minute I saw it I really like this one!

So nice! I don't know why I haven't seen this one of yours yet (must have missed it by accident). I love your long composition and that blue in the bg that you changed from the grass. Pronghorns are so cool!

Thanks . Didn't get a good photo showing the grass - but it looks so much better. I had pulled it off the wall to make some changes about a week ago - and my daughter had a fit. She said to leave it alone - it was done! hahaha So I waited for her to go to bed last night, then pulled it down. I like it better than before - but wish I would have made at least one of the antelope a buck with some horns. Oh well - I am sure I will do another painting of antelope sometime

Haha, well I guess if you wanted to change it, there was no stopping you. You'd find a way! Yeah, I agree it would have looked a little nicer with a buck in it, but there's always room for another painting.
