Well personally I love the frosted roses and they wouldn't be the same if they didn't look sad. For me the only thing that spoils it is the spider silk that, in this case, seems unnatural. The rest of it I love. But hang on - what is this frost you photograph? Don't remember it getting that cold so far this winter!?

Here in the SW we had hard frost & freezing fog for all of 3 days to Solstice, since then nothing except rain, rain & more rain. Where's winter???

Oh yeah - I remember now! I really should have been a goldfish. How could I forget that amazing freezing fog that coated the trees. Oh how I wish I had my camera with me then. Unfortunately I'd left it in Sheffield and when I got there they didn't have any frost or fog at all
