Birthday drawing for . I decided to draw his character, Alexia, a girl who loves zebras.I drew it on paper because my new tablet hasn't arrived yet. Boy, did this feel weird, after years of 100% digital art.

I have a new process of drawing out sketches first then trace over them digitally. Not only is it easier for me, but it helps me keep up with my traditional art.
I know that's unrelated to the drawing itself, but I kinda felt the need to say that after what you said in the description.

I used to ink traditionally, then use Photoshop filters to make it look more sharp and noticeable, before coloring. Now, I do a rough layer in Photoshop, before inking over that.

I have Paint.net to use for any effects that MS Paint can't do, but it's a little harder since it's rather slow and doesn't have a more wider variety of options.
Still, I'm trying to work with what I have.
