1-Milo, I tip my hat to being one of the first or few people to actually surprise ZoeΒ
2-I think a shark jump would consist of not something happening and not being mentioned after.
3-wouldn't call it a 180 more of a 90 since Milo does put up with Zoe's shenanigans (as does most of the town) so I(meaning personal opinion) wouldn't find it too out of character to suprise Zoe every now and again.

Milo may be the less assertive of the two, but to keep going along with a pistol like Zoe requires courage, maybe above average courage. I think most people would shy away from her.

2-Zoe is apart of a scout troop that (as you once told me)sneaks on to military bases on occasion, so like Zoe's dad Milo must have more courage than he lets on just to talk to her, then to have an ongoing friendship with her

I really like the concept of two people remaining that dedicated to each other since childhood, having never lost touch (or reconnecting at some point if they have) and remaining dedicated the rest of their lives. Something that seems lost in today's society, both in real life, and in fiction. These two will always be my favorite characters of yours.
