Thank you very much. I remember catching snow flakes as a kid. Good times. Though, I'm a warm weather person. But, yeah, hot chocolate on a cold day; that's my favorite part of winter.

This is very cute. Great job on the background. It has a nice wintery feel to it. I'm not a winter person at all, I'm a spring and fall person, but so far it's been very mild here where I live. Our winters haven't been that bad. Again, very cute character. Is this your character?

Why, thank you. I wanted to do a winter scene for awhile, as well as something cute. I'm a late spring-early autumn person, but winter has it's perks. Yesterday was the first significant snowfall, and it was kind of cool looking on the drive home.
And yes, this cute little lass is my character, Zoe Gruber. You may remember her from "Coppertoon Girl". Thanks for the fave, too.

I have been there, done that. I'm a winter person m'self. Great job on the background and overcast sky, that adds so much to a picture. But I love her facial expression, she really seems so happy. It's not over the top, it's a pretty realistic -in a cartoony way- expression. Great work!

I have to admit that winter can be beautiful. It has a kind of mystic beauty to it, and I wanted to capture that, along with a childlike joy and wonder in Zoe. I know she's been tomboyish in other drawings of her, so it's time for her cute side to show.

I've always felt the same way about winter. It can be both bleak and dazzling, sad and happy...It's like a blank canvas: Open to possibilities.

That's a good way to describe it. It's great to watch it snow outside or have hot chocolate after being out it the cold. It's not so great to have your fingers go numb or pay to have your car towed out of a snow bank.
