Your dedication to detail is amazing! I wish I could draw like this. Your are awe inspiring. Definantly someone I could easily idolize for drawing skill. May I have permision to in and color a few of your drawings, Simply for my own pleasure, nothing more? If not thats alright I understand.

looks good...u have a lot of patience and that is very very good for an inker to have...u really should consider it...cause u also have a steady hand...but u need to pay a lil more attention to the line weight. its almost non existant.. a lot of ur lines are flat and "dead" is what its called..when there is no line weight... go back and look carefully and u will notice that lines get thicker and thinner in spots
look at alex gardners stuff over j scott campbell and it will be easy to see
keep it up...

Thanks man. I know I need to work on my line weights, it's just a bit tough when I don't have a proper teacher lol. But I'm getting there, I just need to focus and possibly buy a quill pen even though I hate them haha! Would help though. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it

no prob...but quills are very very hard to use and get comfortable with...
make sure u use the thickest paper possible...we use 400lb paper...strathmore is the best brand and speedball india ink is what i use

ebas In reply to LahmiaRaven [2009-12-01 03:06:48 +0000 UTC]
quills are the best and the biggest pain to get use to...
cause beileve it or not...about 3/4 of all the 102's u buy are no good and it takes a lil while to develope an eye for which NOT to use

I got a lot to learn then! And a lot of different quills to buy *dies*

That is absolutely awesome.
But if only you knew how uncomfortable thongs were.
Of course they look sexy on bombshell babes who are probably used to wearing nothing at all.

Absolutely beautiful. the background is very nice and adds to the environment. I love all the little details, especially on her costume. would you mind if I use this for coloring practice? I wont post of course (unless given permission) but use for my own practice purposes.....so damned pretty!

That does look like some pain in the butt detail work. So much detail... quite a job for the eyes to distinguish things at first.
Criticism: I'm going to have to agree with ~odingraphics about the wind issue--I mean look at how much her hair is blowing. Also, something that no one else said anything about but jumped right out at me: she is hugging a plush toy, but if you look at her arms/hands it doesn't look she is hugging anything. It looks more like she is hugging herself and there is nothing there to impede her arms. Hopefully that is useful.

it is plush, and very plush at that...have ur ever squeezed one in ur hand and made a complete fist? well its one of those...its that soft.
and her head spun around, so theres no wind...and the hanging lamps are made of heavy glass and gold, it is weighed down a lot because there is fire in them, cant have them swinging around and falling down now can we??

hi! i watch and just saw the colored version of this and thought to come here and see your pencil work, which i have to say is gorgeous. the style you use reminds me of some of the stuff printed by top cow...do you draw for them too? and just so i don't flood this with my silly questions, do you have a faq?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ebas In reply to Izzabell [2008-10-23 02:25:19 +0000 UTC]

cool. a faq that answers frequently asked questions...usually in a journal, but i noticed when i went to your main page that you don't have a journal.
so b/c of that. did you learn all this on your own or did you attend a college?
