well, I'm managing to make photoshop work...just dealing with shades and light, but think its more of I just need to study clothes more so...feel free to check out my gallery if you want. probably gonna resume my speed paint videos soon since I have alot of free time after AnimeNEXT Convention.

well, thats why i watch these speed paints and look at alot of pictures. getting the idea of clothes but am still practicing with Photoshop shop since it doesnt have a good blur tool like Sai does...I miss using Sai...

I cant use Sai since I have a Mac laptop instead of PC. I did had the Mac version [formatted so it work on mac] once before but problem is, every time I changed the keyboard shortcuts so it can work better like my Photoshop, it reverts back to normal setting every time I close then open it again...it's too much hassle to change the Sai setting everytime I use it. kinda make me lose my drive when I open it to work...where in Photoshop, I just open my stuff right away and work.
And the Speed Paints videos, probably not gonna do much since I got some animation shorts projects to work on. *go crazy on tablet like this: [link] [thumb doesnt work for some reason]*

well, thats why I try to learn as much as I can for Photoshop, so I can be able to do what others can do in Sai. good thing, i found out some tricks to help out like the Clipping Mask layer - allow me to shade where I want to shade without me doing extra erasering outside of the lines like shading skins or clothes. still got a long way to go, but I'm experimenting and watching speed paints vids, like your's. ^-^

and just a normal brush to do flat colors, and an airbrush at different opacities
and textures
