Description
I finished this, realized the skin was too light, then spent at least two hours trying to make it darker. Errgh :IAnyways. Portrait of Beetee from Catching Fire, done in a 19th century sort of style.

I think you could have gotten away with it being light - they were described as ashen, which is pale. But I imagine them with an Asian influence too, and I know they're usually darker. It seemed to work out well for me though, when I did Wiress pale. Although she did seem to lose some of her Asian features, you can still recognize them if you know they are there ^^
Anyway, a great picture and quite a lot like I imagined.

I didn't really know what ashen meant in reference to skin when I read the book, hahaha. I imagined them as darker skinned, but I think anything that's more of a muted tone would work~
