Description Watercolor practice~ Back in september I bought a set of watercolor paint tubes only to found that what I needed for my classes was pans :eek Just thought I should make use of those tubes, starting with red and green since it's my favorite color combo (Lineart was drawn with Open Canvas then printed on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor pencils)

The character is based on red pitaya, the fruit of a cactus which is also know as 'dragon fruit'.

i think i tried a dragon fruit once, but i dont think it was the fruit of a cactus...

Thank you ^^ The fruit has indeed black seeds, though smaller than watermelon seeds, they are more like kiwi seeds :3

C'est un fruit peu connu en France, mais on en trouve parfois dans les supermarchΓ©s :3 Son goΓ»t se rapproche de celui du kiwi ^^

Thanks ^^ Well for the anatomy... I drew the lineart digitally with my tablet then printed it on watercolor paper. It's pretty much the same thing than drawing on paper though it does have the advantage of not wasting paper on sketching stage
