Also noticed you use horizontal lines to note the position of the bottom of the neck, top of the chest, bottom of the ribs, and where the legs connect with the hip. Looks like a handy frame type. Those lines are what you start with, right?

Yeah. I start with the shoulder line, then I draw the neck from wherever I decide the center of that is based on the angle. Then I block out the ribs/upper torso, and connect the lower torso to that. I also line up the angle of the crotch with the shoulders. Then I decide where I want the boobs to end, and I draw a line that is parallel to the shoulders and line the bottom of the boobs up to that.

Haha. If the trend follows, her cleavage window will return. From what I've seen, feminists have mixed feelings on Power Girl in general. They have a problem with the exposed females in general more than they seem to take issue with Power Girl's cleavage window. They seem to take even more issue with the writers trying to disguise her cleavage window as some empowering statement when it is clearly boobs, haha.

What? Haha. I haven't even seen this. Most recent one I knew of was with the red neck dealy. This new one is a completely different girl with the PG title, haha. I'm okay with that as long as she's written well. Also gives people an excuse to BE the shit out of her, haha. Prepare the growth serum/lasers!

Weird. I read that they just sent the other PG back to where she came from, and she left the name of PG to the new PG. Not sure how that works when I think about it, haha. Old PG knew new PG would be powerful or summin. DC and their shenanigans.

Haha. I don't know that hate fuels the comic market more than sales would. I don't care how much people hate her, if she becomes a cash cow for them, she's not going anywhere. If the female readerbase picks up, she'll be raking in the dough, as women buy over 50% of print media in general. That statistic has probably changed since I last saw it though.

I think hate seems to cause FEAR in the comic market.. Ultimately even though they're not selling what they're fans want, those wanting change aren't there to buy it.
We will just have to see if they bring white power girl back or not.

I don't see why she wouldn't pop up honestly. I'm all game for them doing something different though. It's why I try to draw different body types now and again, same old gets boring after a while, and I get to reach out to a wider variety of people who many find out that they also like my other stuff.

Because they're deleting a character and replacing it with a new look and new story. They can't have TWO power girls. Nor is she an alternate dimension. Everytime powergirl is mentioned it will be the bumble bee rip off.

Eh. I just read that they sent her back to the earth she was trying to get back to. New PG is on earth prime, and old PG is on Earth-2 or Zar L something. If Google search is any indication, the new PG doesn't even come up unless you search for her specifically. But yeah, if you were to put her in the same outfit as Bumblebee, you'd have a clone.
People aren't going to stop talking about PG's tits, haha. It's never going to happen. DC can't erase them. Too many fans.

That's the thing. They aren't in the same universe. Old PG was sent back to her old one, but it's not terribly uncommon for DC to do crossovers with it's multiverse.

but form what I gather it's not even alternate universing her. She's being completely wiped and completely replaced. This isn't like the black aqualad from the Young justice who's one universe of Aqualads. this is a rewrite for ALL pgs

We must be reading completely different info then. www.newsarama.com/21935-dc-com… says that old PG is back on the other Earth by the girl who will be prime Earth's PG. Doesn't sound like deleting at all if she's being sent to another universe in the DC multiverse.
