Just your average Neville/Ginny shipper pic ... I enjoy drawing both of them and have a soft spot in my heart for this ship, even though H/G is canon now. How could you not resist Neville's sweetness?
I tried a different method of coloring with this and I rather like it ... might stick with it for awhile.

I'm not really a Ginny/Neville shipper, but this pic looks great! I like how you colour Neville's eyes blue (I've always imagined them brown), and both of them look amazing. An instant fave!

Thanks! I still like this pic more than I ought to as well ... and to be honest I have no idea why I colored his eye blue (I imagine them as brown now too). I guess Neville/Ginny is kind of my "LA LA LA NOT LISTENING!" ship because obviously it is not and never will be canon.

Very lovely! The poses are especially fluid and natural. The coloring also does great justice in its subtlety to define the characters' faces.
BTW: Snape kills Neville.

Thanks! I feel like I cheated in that I used photo references, but it was a step up from what I had been doing before. My drawing skills have even evolved a bit since then, but I still like this piece a lot.
And hey, don't say that ... I'll cry.

i think neville and ginny would make an adorable coupple. although, it seems j.k. would have us believe that after 5 books of a sweet, genuine ginny that harry would take some random interest in a floozy who took ginny's place. but, this has nothing to do with this lovely picture. i was just rambling. anyways, back to the picture - i really love the shading and colors that you used. they really bring the characters out, and make them look real. you did a very lovely job.
