Description Yes I know the flame is bad. I did that without references. I am happy with this one too. Though I dread most of the other types. Ugg. Mostly because some of them I am not sure what to do to make them interesting like steel or fighting. Dark might be hard too...

I am tired... sleep... need sleep... but I have psychology to go to right now.

Oh dear lord Sephy! O________O! The flame at the bottom!! Its fantastic! FIRE RULEZ!! Sry... I Fire a lot. The background gives it a volcanic flare effect. Gotta love it. I wish it was a real card thou. I'd be the first one 2 get it! XD ^^

That flame down the bottom is fantastic, the composition works very well and draws the eye across the whole length of the card, the subtle steam/smoke up the top is a nice tough as well .
Though I think where it's lacking is the actual fire -element- symbol. It really just looks kinda sloppy >.<. What I loved about the previous Electric one was how clean and defined it looked, and by comparison the fire, looks somewhat wonky and undefined. I may just be comparing it to heavily to the official energy, but I feel the points should be sharper, the lines smoother, the whole symbol does need to be more confident and less awkward.
I really don't mean to sound critical of it, but I just find this inferior to the previous, it lacks a lot of the power and that dynamic feel.

I guess I should admit that I am not very good at using the pen tool in copying stuff. I stupidly copied the symbol from a tiny symbol on a Flareon card.

I might go back and fix that but to tell you the truth, I do not terribly think it is inferior. I kind of like the more organic feel to it. I will have to think about it...

Oh, the one on the sphere I traced from the original. I was referring to the bottom, attempted to be realistic flame. Thank you for commenting. ^^
