Great photo Love the washed out colors and the composition is just excellent.

I think it could do without the fade-to-black on the edges, though

I love the contrast between the white snow and the red leaves or whatever, and the whole color of the wall, even the "angle crop"
the POV is cool , but maybe you could have tried also to put the lamp on one of the 1/3 lines ... i don t know i m just guessing .
the mood's pretty nice, yeah

Great choice of viewpoint! Colour and exposure is pretty much spot on .

Looked at your "Tools of trade" and good lord, you have a DiMage Z3! I have a Z2 you're the only other person I met who has a DiMage XD.

1y ago i bought Nikon and i gave Minolta to my parents. They're like it. I was shoting with Minolta since 2005 many of my works are taken with Minolta But i known on DA some girl who has Minolta and she was doing amazing photographs. I was sure that she has much better camera but i read that she have just minolta. i liked my big zoom in Minolta. ehh old, good times

Same, I went Nikon about a year after I got my Minolta . Hardly any of my gallery has any shots taken on my Minolta. Not because it's bad or anything, just 'cause I've progressed so much since I last used it! But yeah, good old days of Minolta . It's a shame they got bought out by Sony.
