this is actually incomplete; i still have to cover the floor with something. BUT i figured i might as well show you what i presented in today's drawing class.

loosely inspired by the work of edward gorey, especially one drawing of his, depicting a room past a hallway through another room. i say loosely because dear god i cannot will myself to pay as much attention to all those tiny lines... XD

also inspired by what i find to be the most unsettling thing about certain horror films: that moment where the camera swings around, only to catch a GLIMPSE of a dark shape moving just out of view. that moment always gives me the creeps, in the best kind of way.

the lynch, leaving somebody's house or entering it? about to cause mayhem or simply picking up an old possession? we may never know. :B
