Darn, Eiko beat me to it. :T

But he looks awesome here, I love how the hair conveniently falls behind the gaps in the wings and well, the wings in general. >u> Makes it look very dynamic~

He looks so awesome! I love how everything is flowing behind him. There's so much movement and epicness.
I'm also excited to see what the flint gloves do with fire~

Thank you!
The flint gloves are the same as the ones he used in the summer tournament. He can snap his fingers to generate a spark, and it makes it easier for him to burn things with his Flash Fire ability.

Ah, interesting! I wasn't around for the summer tournament, so that's good to know.

I have to do minor color enhancing in IrfanView cause my scanner fades the colors. XP But yah, all traditional. X'D

It's lovely work, though lol even minor enhancements are better than how I do it, I take my whole traditional piece and end up having no traces of it left when I'm done, the color looks really good

Ah, so you start traditional and then scan and digify it?

I usually sketch out my picture and then take a horribly low quality picture (no scanner, horrible laptop camera xp ) and then trace over the pose, mainly I prefer online sketching because of the easy, oh so lovable ctrl+z button~ XD

Ah, that's cool. I don't have a tablet and my hand's rather shaky when doing minute details, so I've never really tried working with stuff on the comp. My friend draws traditionally, scans her pics, then re-lines them entirely in PS using her laptop's track-pad. So much dedication.

Oh god the track pad ffff, those are the most complicated things but I see magical pieces of art come from them! God those impress me more and more everytime XD And so you stick to bigger detail in your pieces?

Eddie-chan In reply to Lady-Moosh [2013-04-05 19:55:06 +0000 UTC]
Here's a piece she drew traditionally and then track-pad lined and colored: [link]
My current sketch pad is 9"x12" and I also sometimes draw on 8.5"x11" paper. I can do tiny details, but I have to go slowly when inking or I mess them up. XP

Awww what a cute one ;3; and all by that scary frekkin laptop pad XD
yeh god, I used to always draw with a pen I know exactly what you mean x-x but it comes out looking good c: what do you do when you make a mistake? Color the hell out of it to cover it up? |D

Eddie-chan In reply to Lady-Moosh [2013-04-05 20:45:04 +0000 UTC]
Mistakes I gotta hope I can color over. I used to use white-out, but that doesn't work so well on off-white paper. XP The most recent problem I had was uni-ball pens smudging, but I found if I use it after I color I don't have to worry as much.
