My house mates andare all doing a design course together atm. (one that I have completed.) they have the upcoming assignment of building a typographic self portrait, so I thought I would teach them a thing or two and throw one together for kicks. finished it in about 2 hours.
I am enjoying doing designing as well as coloring lately.
there are no doubt typo's. I am a very bad speller.
the font is called 'scurlock' and I found it on Dafont.com

damm right - show those wannabe' undergrads how the people with the piece of paper already know how to do it!
( I did something similar with my brother's study group when they had to do an art analysis project in his teaching course - I basically did the analysis for all four of them as an impromptu 'tutorial class' on our lounge room floor! - they all got between a B- and A !!)

This is really brilliant, it has a really wonderful tone and creates a sort of fairytale feeling. I absolutely love how the text wraps with the contours of the face.
I was going to ask if you would consider doing a tutorial but I saw that someone else already made that request so I'd like to also throw in my vote for one also!! It would be so great to see how this technique is done, I have no idea how difficult it is seeing as I'm not very PS savvy but I would love to give it a try.
