"Fraternisation"Austro-Hungarian soldiers (exactly Hungarians) met with the enemy.
If you are carefully zoom, you can notice the Hungarian officer pouring some booze to a big glass to drink with their enemies.
Russian Soldiers, Officers in Cossack fur hats or Adrian M15 helmets posing proudly and happy together with the several Hungarian soldiers officers.
Perhaps this is not exactly Christmas but Easter.
The soldiers are humanic and you can even feel the valuable human manners and happines which interrupts the horrors of the war.
I like this photo very much, I am repaired the edges a bit with GIMP.
Perhaps my favourite WW1 photo in my private collection.
