I must confess that iΒ΄m starting to get bored of my art (this happens when people change themselves, sometimes) iΒ΄m making an effort to get inspired with different styles of drawing and colouring, gettin out myself of the actual "always cute" kind of characters, my own style is becomin "flat" to me right now. I want to improve so badly but i have a long road ahead. *crush head on desk*This characters are totally random, a deer, a hyena and a linsang. Some of my favourite animals.

I like these head shots. They have your flare.. but a bit different. They carry the alluring look and yet less "cutesy" as you were hoping to do. The deer seems to still carry it.. but not as much. More "boyish" I guess is the correct term.

I guess you could always try creating characters based on animals you really don't see in often (or ever) in anthro. That may help some.

Your darwing style has always been a brutiful one. Regardles the defrent syles you mess around with.
Besides I find experimenting with other drawing styles makes drawing a whol lot more fun and alive 
Plus I think you do your facial expresstions quait well in some of your pictures.

me gustn en particular los dos bocetos en blanco y negro. Me parece que la lineas son mΓ s relajadas y fluyen mΓ s, esas valiaciones de grosor que tienen estan realmente buenas y le dan mucha mΓ s personalidad al dibujo. Me parece que estas en bien encaminada en lo de mejorar tu estilo. Exitos!

Maybe...try..to do other charcters in Anthro..like...the old stuff you used to draw and what'd they look like in Anthro... wait..maybe thats the same thing......hmm......I'll come back to you on this..

I'm actually recovering from it. I usually go about drawing a sketch dump with random characters or looking through artbooks and manga for ideas. I'm glad someone else goes through that problem. Kinda felt like I was the only one. Especially someone as good as you. My friend help to sense I'm constantly around some good artists.

i think that all artists have moments like this, sometimes seeing otherΒ΄s arts help me, sometimes makes me feel more depressed. maybe just need to try something different and new or took time for yourself.

Always good to see room for improvement. Sometimes I feel like I might just quit or that I just don't feel like drawing, but then I realize if I ever quit it would mean wasted all that time drawing for nothing. I usually just take a break and bring in some new experiences. That works.
I never would have thought that way a long time ago no sirree. When I saw this friend of mines art who drew alot better then me for the first time I couldn't draw for like two weeks. One of my friends says it's a mind thing, and overcoming it is a hard one. That always sounds like a good idea anyways. I'm trying to leanr photoshop sense pencil drawings aren't very popular on DA.

Love the new style. Trying different styles is a great way to judge your previous accomplishments and improve, I think. I hope you don't grow tired of this style too soon. It's quite awesome. Certainly a little edgier and not AS cute as before.
