I can picture the torso retracting into the body like some kind of demon turtle thing... of course by that point one has to question whether such a creature would even have a belly button. 🤔

And that kind of spider is pretty cool I wish we got more of them in the yard...I've only seen one or two like that in my mom's garden a few years ago.
