It turned out so cute, ed-boy <3 Of course, you nailed the anatomy and the shading and everything as always, but something about the colors and the angles and the pose and just... the feeling this pic gives off makes it a really nice last horrah before your vacation.... at least, talking as an outsider
Speaking of which, I hope your vacation is an absolutely fantastic one, buddy
The best you can have <3

Brother. Evil twin brother. Turned good after his defeat at the first game's climax. Ty was originally an homage shout out to Sonic, so Sly is Shadow. Also, there was a Metal Ty, which was originally planned for inclusion in the second game if the first game's cliffhanger proves anything, but the team decided to go a more original route with the sequel instead. Metal Ty can be seen loafing about Ty's Australian town, smoking and sparking from wounds and saying very vague somethings about vague events that happened between the games. Guess Ty won and saved Little Pla- I mean, the Australian Outback.

Actually Sly was added because the lead programmer who shared the same name was being mixed up as TY all the time. And Cy was only created as a nod to mecha sonic. =3

Well it still was, but it was mecha, not metal. (I don't really know of the difference as I'm not a Sonic fanboy ^^.

I don't know or care about the difference between Mecha and Metal Sonic either, except when it's necessary to distinguish them. I know that Metal Sonic was from Sonic CD, but the other Sonic robots never had canonical game names. Their names are all given to them by the fans or writers of the comic books.

Ah ok ^^. Sorry, I'm a bit of a TY fanatic. I know a lot about the games and their history.

Nothing wrong with that! I've been buying the remastered re-releases on Steam lately. Or more likely putting them on my wishlist and waiting for a sale, lol

I would always recommend purchasing the first two games, but I was horrifically disappointed by the third. And the fourth I struggle to call a TY game at all; although fun, it’s not a TY game.

Ah. I really just like the first only. Fourth, like you said, is okay. I'm not sure about it being Ty or not. I feel like even the second game was enough of a departure from the first. I hate getting lost, driving around those stupid roads. Never played third. Apparently, I shouldn't, lol.

Although 2 was a big departure from the original, it still had a lot of interesting levels. 3 on the other hand is harder to deacribe. It follows the same formula as the second, but instead of the fourbie, it’s a really difficult to control crab. Boss cass is an ally. There are loads of really pointless mission, including mandatory kart racing. And the humour is really dumbed down. It’s unfortunate that it happened, but TY3 is just a bad game.

That's too bad. I think it's being put on Steam. I might grab it REAL cheap on sale to experience the whole trilogy, but otherwise I'll remember your impression of it.

All four are already on Steam. I would still recommend playing 1,2 and 4 as they are fun games. And although 3 has fun elements, they changed a lot about the game for the worse, including making mandatory kart racing missions which are garbage to control.

Yeah, the third is the only one I've never owned or played. So far, my favorites are the first and fourth. Mostly the first. That's just me though.

The first one will always be my favourite. Four was pretty good if I remember it well enough, but because it was so different I can’t really compare it to the other three. It was fun, but not really a TY game. I also enjoyed two to a degree too. Interesting characters, fun driving section and the introduction of new rangs. But three was just a train wreck XD.
