The next list of characters is mainly a mix of the different branches (as with the next one, actually). With so many characters in the Mario universe, I would naturally want to show the ones that are notable enough to warrant mention, and spreading the game branches to add variety. I liked the arrangement of the characters because this time I got to arrange them properly on a small paper. Once again, I will just list comments and opinions on the various characters rather than their history.

Professor Elvin Gadd: This quirky professor is pretty cool to me, and he seems to be a pretty important character for the Gamecube games, considering his role in giving Mario and Luigi the tools to go through the adventures. I would be more impressed if he is one of the Mario Party playable characters, because it would be so funny to see him being all competitive.

Pauline: Ah yes, the forgotten girl that Mario used to rescue numerous times from Donkey Kong. Wish she would be as mainstream as the other ladies from Mario, because there is a notable lack of Mario females, and Pauline will help fit in nicely.

Captain Syrup: The evil lady of the Wario universe definitely needs mention now that she had the latest appearance in the latest Wario Land game. For some reason, it's fun to see her being defeated. But no such luck in the latest game, considering the new villain. With so many beautiful girl heroes, this is one (of some others) that I don't mind see defeated again. It definitely puts a twist of heroes and villains' looks, since Wario's ugly (hero) and Syrup's beautiful (villain).

Geno: Geno can be a puppet of a doll, or maybe a scarecrow, but one thing for certain, no matter how Geno looks, he's a pretty awesome guy. I find it strange how Geno is actually intangible that takes the form of a doll, but his personality is one of the coolest aspects. But then, I am just being too straightforward here, so I am just going to say Geno's an awesome character and leave it as just that.

Diddy Kong: Noticed how Diddy Kong's cap is on backwards? I wanted to put it that way because of space constraints, and besides, there's even an official artwork that depicts his cap backwards. As for Diddy himself, he's probably what the Mario franchise needs: more monkeys, because he's the second monkey that makes it as a main character in Mario spin-offs, starting from Double Dash.

Baby Mario: I find it funny how the Baby characters are made into mainstream characters that exist among their main counterparts. So, Baby Mario is an awesome baby because a baby that can do great things is pretty exciting, unlike Baby Mickey (Mouse). Of course, Baby Mario can be mischievous and fearless, so of course he's not the least worried about Bowser Jr. getting raged.

Bowser Jr.: The bratty Koopa is a risky addition to me because the Koopalings seem to hold such a high regard among the old fans. Not sure if it still holds true to newer fans, and I hope not, because if the Toadstool/Peach name conflict has somthing to say, it's that it doesn't matter in the long run (did you see the Toadstool/Peach debate very common now?). Bowser Jr.'s scarf is probably is the least intimidating aspect, because it's not scary enough.
