Was considering the pixel contest and was playing NES at the same time. Then I was like.. Oh muh gawd!I looked at the super-pixelated power of the shroomie coming out of the block, and knew, by all means, that THE 1-UP SHROOM is the sole representation of anything pixel.
I was inspired, and the inspiration came true. We must all bow before the mushroom that gives us life.
In any other case, Here's my entry.

as much as i know i would love to see this as the pixel icon i just hope nothing comes up legal wise if it does win. i hope it does win though ^_^ i'm a big fan of teh old school.
