Hola! Esto es de lo último que hice, ya hace tiempo. No encuentro tiempo para pintar!
El título es muy significativo; se trata de un paisaje de La Comarca (The Shire), lugar de decentes y respetables hobbits. Está hecho con lápices acuarelables. Lo que no me gusta es el cielo, no es muy real que digamos, no es lo que me imaginaba. Qué les parece? Comenten porfa!-------
Hi! This is my last painting, done weeks ago. I can't find time to paint!
The tittle it's very significant; it's a landscape of The Shire, home of decent and respectable hobbits. It's done with watercolour-pencils. What I don't like it's the sky, it's not very real, and not what I imagined. What do you think? Of the three links you sent me, I like this one the best - it's got a very strong, solid composition and bold, bright colours that work really well. The reddish-brown features worked into the green hills make for a very good complementary contrast, and the white outlines help a lot.

Thanks a lot for your comment! I'm glad I sent you that note! I like this one very much also. The finished work even surprised me, and I was pleased very much, allthough it's not perfect, of course. What do you think of the sky? I have always the same trouble, not knowing how to paint the sky according to the tone and coldness of the general lighting on the pic, and those clouds are so unreallistic... Thanks a lot Jenny!!!

I think I would have used more shades in between, instead of bright white and dark blue. The best way to learn to paint skies is to look at lots of skies, or photos of 'em. And come up with an abstraction that suits you. For me, art is all about the abstractions.

En cuanto a lo que decís de las nubes: es cierto, parece el cielo de una maqueta ^_^ Lo que no entiendo es por qué está más oscuro de un lado que del otro, eso crea una sensación bastante rara (como si la imagen fuera más "pesada" del lado oscuro). Creo que quitarle nubes al cielo sería mejor, puesto que, estando así de nublado, me parece que todo el paisaje debería estar más oscuro (o sea, no tan brillante).
Sin embargo, la perspectiva, los campos, las casas, el puentecito, la disposición, es todo maravilloso : D
P.D.: y por favor no le prestes atención a mi redacción, que está toda revuelta -_-

Justamente! Como siempre, diste en el clavo, gracias! El cielo de una maqueta, parece. Y es eso lo que no me gusta; no hay coherencia entre la luminosidad de la planicie, con el tipo del cielo. Pero no me pareció que daba para hacerlo todo soleado. Está oscuro no de un lado, sino más arriba, y abajo, más claro. Quise dar la idea de que estaba anocheciendo. Sí, no me salió.
