This is a really beautifully captured picture! I love the subject, I think it reflects nature quite well, specifically a European frog. I think youβve done a really good job at getting this shot in such a nice composition, which can be especially difficult after being in awe, preparing your camera, making a number of shots and trying not to get too panicky about it hoping away- I personally do all these things wrong and therefore never manage when it comes to photography. I really like the way you have zoomed, centred and focused into the subject to really emphasis its role as the main piece. The sharpness it moderate which works really well with the blurred background, since the contrast isnβt too vast, and therefore it still fits in with the picture. The blurred green in the background harmonises graciously with the frog colours and pigments in the skin, which gives it that nature-like, fresh mood. I like how you have made sure the camera was sharp enough to capture the textures in the skin and also picks up the wet surface on it too. Overall a delightful photo that captured my interest as soon as i caught sight of it! Β

Sweet little frog. I think he looks much better as Kermit. You photo is wonderful...
