A freeform commission for , whose characters I always enjoy drawing This time featuring Kaniver - a sly, but actually nice, creature who enjoys sneaking up on his unsuspecting friends I tried some new background and shading methods here and a had a ton of fun And I hope you like it too!


On another note, I'm doing my best to art at the moment but my theatre company is now going into show season and the next month might be even slower than usual when it comes to drawing... 😶 Hey ho. Stage lighting is such fun though~🎵

Wow, this looks wonderful! Very nice work with setting the mood with colour. And the background is beautiful, the character blends in nicely!

Oh damn, I would love to be in a theatre company. Used to do set building (and a bit of acting) in high school and uni, and I absolutely adored it. 

Anyway, the drawing is really cute. The lighting and shading is amazeballs. And that mischievous expression conveys a lot of emotion. Very dynamic piece. Well done!
