We do...we do. Don't tell them, though.
Takes away from the surprise.
Weird: I wasn't even posing. A friend of mine just snapped a picture and to my surprise totally nailed the focus. Did I mention before that this camera is THE shit?

D3X? Seriously?
So I can take it for granted that you have the ability to shit gold-nuggets?
You know how much this thing costs, right?
Hell, if I could I would so own this thing. I wouldn't just own it, I'd OWN it...and all the nice lenses, too.
But I'd still go with the D3S. Faster camera all around.
Canon is no option - I pretty much hate Canon. But Nikon...instantly.

yeah the one Im looking at is about just over $9000.
I have an artist grant coming in soon, and might be using that.
Again Im just looking....with a hint of hopeful wishing XD
Im using a D3100 at the moment, its good, I love it. I just want to see what the D3X can do.....yesh, I just want to play with it XD Dont judge me! I want to get more lenses...those arent exactly cheap either tho T__________T
OMG!! ME TOO! I was just arguing with a friend about nikon vs canon...I love nikon, He disagrees strongly with my choice >.> grrrrrrrr

People who disagree with your opinion are stupid and derserve to be kicked in the nuts (if they have any - alternatively nipple twister).
At least that's how I handle it.
But what do you need the extra resolution for? Ok, my camera now has 16,2MP so 24MP on FF isn't exactly overkill but 9FPS and virtually noiselessness is a strong argument for the D3S - which also is cheaper.
Alone the huge viewfinder of FF cameras is so worth it. Mines pretty big (Awww Yeah!) but FF is even bigger.

I agree! Dont worry, nut cracking and nipple twisting is in the cards XD
I dunno, Sometimes I just see other peoples work, then I look at mine and I can see that Im doing wrong. So just want to really play with different cameras and see what I can get out of it.
Im looking for models too to photograph, but theres just no one in my area, ARGH. Im about to spin a globe, close my eyes and see where my finger lands...then jump on a plane XD
Having good models would help me with my camera woes and figure out what Im doing XD Im pretty sure people are getting sick of seeing my mug smooshed all over my gallery
Hmmmmmmmmmm I might have to look into one of these D3S's....I did glance over that one, it looks like a HAWT camera.
Yeah Mine 14.2MP, all I could afford at the time, BUT I think its a good camera. I would like something with a higher MP count XD
I dont have any photography or arty buddies down this way, you have no idea how super stoked I am to have someone to through conversation about this shit back and forth too Im hoping to eventually be able to afford an upgrade, D3100 is a nice little friend tho for now XD

Short reply for now.
"Pro"cameras are not about pixel count, they are about better ergonomics, ease of use and durability.
What do you expect from more resolution? Remember: higher pixel density means higher noise levels and bigger files leading to slower processing.
If you don't plan to print huge like 80x60cm (yes, that's metric! Take that!) there is no real gain in more resolution.
Also higher pixel count means you need better lenses to resolve all that resolution. Pixels aren't forgiving. If the lens isn't fully up to the task pictures will never look critically sharp at 100% view.
So that means "pro"lenses, too. That's where the money is...
Anything above 10MP should be more than enough for most applications. Just because it can be done doesn't mean it should be done (looking at Canon again: 18MP? Why?).
Short answer stop.
