Description
This is my contribution to www.lordoftheringstribute.com/ (Facebook page: www.facebook.com/LordOfTheRing… , a Collab project organized by Brazilian artists, with each artist getting to illustrate one chapter of "The Hobbit" or "Lord of The Rings books".I got the chapter "The Breaking of the Fellowship", as the image that really marked that moment to me was the sight of Frodo and Sam going alone to Mordor. That also marks the end of the first book and the moment the story is divided into two points of view.

Don't be, Lord of The Rings isn't exactly the easiest book to read, it took me a while to go past Tom Bombadil's chapter, haha. I read then when the first LOTR movie came out

Oh, I remember when I was rather young and I knew a lot of people who had read it and I wanted to read it then too... but it was difficult so I put it off until I remembered recently. It's a whole lot easier now. xD

Those dry trees took a good amount of time to be painted, but it was worth it
