Usually I don't like uploading pictures with convention crowds in the background, but this picture here really shows the details on my nurse masks so I decided to upload it

There are two small holes in front of the eyes, about a half square inch in size. The holes are covered in gray mesh fabric and then carefully painted over.
So yes, I could see, but only straight ahead. I could not see what is right in front of me unless I looked down, and even then the very small eye holes made me feel very... detached from my surroundings. Walking down stairs was quite a challenge; I had to rather feel my way down than see it.

Love this! <3 I cosplayed as a SH2 nurse myself not too long ago ([link] - excuse the visible hair, lack of gloves, and non-white collar and cuffs, these were later fixed) but yours is perfect. o.O

Wow, this is amazing!! And I really love it because the face is the ACTUAL one from SH2. So many girls cosplay the SH movie Nurses and call themselves SH2 nurses but they aren't D: (Did that make sense?)

Yes, it makes perfect sense. And that is something that gets on my nerves too, those people don't even know WHAT they are dressing up as. Or the really badly gauze-wrapped-face nurse cosplayers. "ZOMG I cosplay as Bubblehead Nurse!!" - Umm... no. You're not.

Ugh, I know D: Not a single SH nurse even has gauze wrapped faces. They'd have better luck throwing making on their face and cosplaying the SH3 nurse DX

Could you tell me what you used to make the mask exactly? Ive been wanting to cosplay as a bubble head nurse. :/ Because I like them from the second game. Not hollywood's version of them that people tend to cosplay lately.

Wow, I am so impressed to hear that. Most people can't even tell the difference between the Bubblehead Nurse from the game and the Dark Nurse from the movie.
Anyway, I made a basic wire frame, coated it with foam and rubber foam, added the side pieces (made from rubber foam as well) coated the whole thing with several layers of liquid latex, painted it. Oh yeah, I cut holes in the rubber foam before coating it with latex, and covered the hole with gray stocking. Those holes made it possible to breath and see a little.
I am pretty sure that there are better ways to make it, and to actually make it look better and even more accurate. But I made it like what, 3 years ago?

Thank you so much! Ill see what all I could do. If anything, I might need you to tell me the steps- like how to mold it into a mask and such through a notecard if that's okay with you.
And I'm somewhat of a SH fanatic.. Have been since I saw the first commercial about the second game. x)

yeah, even though not too well. The view was kinda distorted because there were only 2 little wholes to look through. I couldn't really make out distances anymore, which pretty much sucked whenever I had to cross a street or approached stairs. Once I almost fell down stairs because it looked like they were 3 feet away from me even though they were right in front of me @.@
