Description A man, standing with the back -slightly angled- towards the viewer. The first thing one notices, is the man's pale-blue -ish skin, which eminates a cold feeling, and inhospitability. He is also quite muscular, and that combined with the big size of his hands, one can see that this man is quite strong, and one might even feel frightened by just the appearance of him. His thick dark-red plaited hair, hanging in front of his forehead, and the way he's standing makes him look a little more mysterious and secretive than he might really be. One can also see a tattoo on his arm; maybe taken for the pure fun of it, or possibly because of some sect/class or religious purposes that forced him to do it?
The picture is a drawing of an adult male person. The man in the picture has a rather unique style of clothing on him. They look simple and rugged, as if the man wouldn't even bother caring about them. Still, he has wide green pieces of cloth around his hands -maybe to cover scars from fist-fights?-, and dark-red ribbons around his upper-arms that matches his hair-color. The whole picture is slightly cold or neutral, except the man's hair-color, which screams out like a complete opposite to his sly green clothes and pale-blue skin.
When I see this picture, the first thing I notice is the mystery and the mystique in the man. It looks like he'd be walking somewhere, without hearing or seeing -let alone caring about- anyone or anything around him. He might be just deep in thoughts, or missing something that he has lost ages ago. He looks alone, deserted, as if he had friends before, but for some reason has none anymore. What strikes me even more, is that I can't see his eyes. As if they are meant to be hidden, as if he has lost the contact to the rest of the world and all the people, and that he doesn't want to re-establish that contact anymore...

...wow, haven't been on for ages, so apologizing for my late reply...

ahem, yesh! i've played FF9 quite a lot (ages ago), and Amarant's my favourite character! we had this assignment to describe a picture of a person in class once as good as we could, and i asked if fictional characters were okay... as the answer was yes, the choice was clear......

Amarant rocks the SHANTY!
...those thingies are belts; Bae-Li is right.
and I personally liked FFIX better than any of the others; at least the storyline made sense without being generic.
