It is interesting to have this rooted deep inside in our lives because it is amazing how the Bible is something fantastic. It is perfect, it has guidelines for EVERY single situation of our life. There is nothing outside it, it's all there! You can search for anything and you will find it, for sure! It doesn’t only have guidelines for how we should act in our daily life, but also reveals how our God is, how he acts, how he loves us and what his righteousness is like, and give us countless examples of what to do and what not to do. It is full of stories of people who were blessed in incredible ways for obeying God and also of people who have gone very bad for being stubborn. The Bible is perfect because it is the exact word of this God who is so perfect. You cannot deny that it is so perfect to the point of being supernatural, and there are still many other things that prove that it is not just human imagination:

* It is a compilation of 66 books
* Written by over 20 authors ranging from shepherds to kings, from warriors to prophets, from preachers to historians, from fishermen to cult men.
* Written in a period of more than 1300 years, in times of war and peace, and in three languages
* And it still manages to be totally consistent and accurate.

If a single author writing a single thing commits so many errors and the bible was written in the middle of this monstrous ancient mess and still does not have a single failure of logic, one cannot deny that God was there inspiring the guys who wrote it!

That is why it is absolutely correct to say that it is a lamp to our feet and light to our path, because there is nothing else in the world with so many good qualities and tips to guide our life in this weird world!

Jesus is the great subject of the Bible, who came to show God's justice and love for us.

" For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart " Hebrews 4:12
