Thank you! I did go for a different feel with my pencils. I am pretty satisfied. I still like my original better than the scan. Seems like how it always is.
Thanks! Yeah, there is something there. I should have looked for a reference for that pose. It is a difficult pose for me.

This drawing is so classic-- very soft, cheery, and definitely Dickens-esque. The coloring style is very well executed! Even if the colors were diminished by the scanning, I think that they are still very beautiful and the coloring technique is impressive. The sky is especially eye-catching.
As far as composition goes, this drawing is very engaging. The two characters in the foreground draw immediate attention, but there is plenty going on in the background to make it even more interesting.
I noticed that the little girl's arms seem a bit long for her, which makes her look a little unbalanced, but it's not a major thing. Along those lines, the wreath is pretty tiny, too, but there's nothing wrong with a small wreath- it's just unusual. ^.^
Overall, this is a very beautiful picture that captures a Christmasy feel. Mixing original characters with classic imagery creates an interesting composition that is very creative and engaging. Well done!

Thank you so very much for the comment! I appreciate your insight. I do agree that things are slightly scattered. It hadn't been planned to be that elaborate. Planning helps. >_< But yes, I do agree and thank you for your time!

Thanks! It was a challenge to make it warm looking all the while using blues and violets in the piece.

love the feeling of depth in the scenery. I don't thinkk you failed at all, I like the colonial feel of it, not steam punk but cool none the less.

Thank you! Yeah. The steampunk failed but still happy how it turned out.

Really sweet and pretty. (: I love your coloring, and especially how the background seems a tad bit blurry and softer than the main focus of the drawing. The young girl's neck seems a bit thick for her stature, and her arms a bit long... I think. I'm not sure if it is different for children, but arms tend to only extend to about mid-thigh. Her's go to about her knees--or would if extended fully. As for her neck, I'd say bring it back around her jaw/chin area. As it is it seems very thick, and makes her face look awkward.
Great job with the perspective of the buildings in the background, by the way; I'm rather impressed with it and all the straight lines. :'D

Wow. Very Dickens-esque. I like the soft colors, pastels I'm guessing. I think scanning didn't hurt it much, but then you can always digitally compensate for the loss in quality.
