very surprising and rich in its simplicity (which, in fact, indicates how complex the creative process must have been). Thanksfor amazing me

you might not be looking for technical pointers but i am! how did you make it 'explode' so to speak? i know how to halftone... but not make things look like their breaking apart or exploding/imploding.
as for the piece... freakin amazing. i love the concept and execution.

Interesting little progression... almost like a small visual novella. I like that even the number 3 got chewed up, it's like you can't escape the dissolve.

It's always delightful to come across an interesting artist on this wasteland of a site. It's even more of a delight when Spyed recommends it - he's usually not too precise with his appreciation of good versus bad art.
While this piece isn't as striking as some of the others I've been opening from your gallery - there's nothing in this one that incites me emotionally - it's much more delightful for me to look at. The concept is interesting and executed simply, which works. I get enjoyment out of looking at this, since it's an example of somebody executing a concept well. No clue if that means anything to you, but if you're the sort of artist that focuses mostly on craft - and from the look of your stuff, you certainly are - that's the reaction that I have looking at this.
I also like how the gun disassembling nearly looks like it's in bloom.

For me, I see a process which lends itself to a comment:
An item is only as good as its use.
The three images don't come across as breaking down, but rather, exploding apart. It seems almost befitting that the end image would illustrate such destructive and chaotic patterns. Poetic justice in a visual form? Sporadic, artistic experimentation, depicting karmic undertones?
For some reason I am seeing:
"1. Evolution"
"2. Devolution"
"3. Revolution"
Great piece.

At a first glance, I looked at the first gun and thought "ah, filters, big deal". But with the second and third the textures become more complex and a simple gun becomes something much more complex and chaotic. Definitely a piece to be digested over and over, there's always something new to catch.

In the first one I see the smile of someone. In the second one I see a male figure and in the third I see a running bull.
I really like this piece, I feel like it's saying that guns cause change. whether that change is good or bad doesn't matter.
Very cool piece.
